Washington Joy Bond F 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged. Florida Gladys Coego F 2016 2016-10 Absentee/Mail Gladys Coego, a temporary worker for the county elections department, was tasked with opening envelopes sent by Miami-Dade County voters with their completed mail ballots. She was arrested after co-workers caught her illegally marking ballots. Ohio Deshara M. McKinney F 2009 General 2009 Absentee/Mail 3 Deshara M. McKinney was accused of falsifying applications for absentee ballots pertaining to a ballot measure. Pleaded guilty to 2 counts election fraud, 1 count failure to appear. 1 year incarceration for each felony, to run consecutively. Arizona Carlos Magallanes M 2000-11 2005 Registration Fraud 1 Carlos Magallanes was found to have been registered to vote, but he was not a U.S. citizen. Magallenas said he registered to vote at the request of an acquaintance he didn't identify, and that he had no idea he had to be a U.S. citizen to register. Charged with presentment of false instrument for filing, a class 6 felony.
