Deperey because he reportedly registered and voted for the first time on Election Day without photo identification, and the United States Post Office returned a verification letter sent to his address as undeliverable. His identity was later verified, according to a New Hampshire Attorney General's Office investigation. |Connecticut||Marie Duffy (Democratic Registrar of Voters)||F||2000-09||D||Absentee Ballot Fraud||Illegal Assistance||Marie Duffy was a Democratic Registrar of Voters and was to supervise the voting of the absentee ballots issued by the West Haven Town Clerk, along with the complainant Tracy Morrissey, to represent the interest of each of the two Democratic candidates competing in the September 12, 2000 Democratic primary in West Haven. Duffy was accused of assisting nursing home residents fill in their ballots without Morrissey present. Duffy also was accused of delivering the ballots without Morrissey present.
