Moran of Merrimac was charged with illegally voting as a convicted felon in the November 2014 general election. A Town of Merrimac official documented that Moran signed the poll list on Election Day, and Moran admitted to voting on that date during a phone interview. Connecticut Helene Barbara Weinberg F Ineligible district voting Michael Weinberg and wife Helene Barbara Weinberg lived in a home in Roxbury while simultaneously maintaining a home in New York City. A neighbor accused the couple of not living in Roxbury, and therefore illegally voting in the 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 elections. The neighbor also accused the couple of attempting to disenfranchise the votes of other Roxbury residents by sending out an email indicating that one could register and vote in Roxbury if they paid taxes there, and that they didn't necessarily have to live there. The State of Connecticut State Elections Enforcement Commission determined that the couple did qualify as residents of Roxbury, and didn't send out the email with the intent of disenfranchising anybody's vote, despite the incorrect legal advice. Washington Bettina Siharath 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged. Kentucky Douglas C. Adams (former school Superintendent) Cletus Maricle Freddy W. Thompson Stanley Bowling Charles Wayne Jones William Stivers William Bart Morris Debra L. Morris M 2002 2004 2006 2009-07 Vote Buying Circuit Court Judge Cletus Maricle, and seven others (Douglas C. Adams, Freddy W. Thompson, Stanley Bowling, Charles Wayne Jones, William Stivers, William Bart Morris and Debra L. Morris) were convicted in 2010 in a massive vote-buying scheme that ran through several elections. After a seven-week trial, the defendants were convicted on various charges they faced, which included vote-buying, mail fraud, extortion and money laundering. Several convicted major drug dealers testified during the trial about how easy it was to spread many thousands of dollars around to buy votes. In 2010 sentenced to 24 years and 5 months in prison.
