Washington Tyler Dawson M 1 Records received from Snohomish County Washington did not indicate the specific accusation. From a list of almost 200 voter fraud cases that occurred since June 2007, only one person was charged. North Carolina Brandon Earl McLean 2008-11 General D 2011-08 Multiple voting 1 1 Three Wake County residents were charged with, and admitted to, voter fraud in connection with the 2008 presidential election. Twenty-six-year-old Kierra Fontae Leache of Pheiffer Drive in Raleigh, 46-year-old Shelia "Sheilia" Romona Hodges, also of Pheiffer Drive in Raleigh, and 25-year-old Brandon Earl McLean of Bethune Drive in Raleigh, admitted casting two votes in 2008. All three are registered Democrats. Leache filed a no-excuse absentee application on Oct. 29, 2008, as well as voted at the polling place on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Raleigh on Nov. 4. Leache later admitted to authorities that she did vote twice in the presidential election. Hodges and McLean both each participated in early voting at Chavis Heights Community Center in Raleigh and later voted on Election Day at their local polling place. They also admitted to the charges. All three have been placed under a $10,000 bond. Six members of the Medrano family, one of Dallas County’s most influential Democratic families, and another associate were indicted in the case, including Medrano's brother, Federal Reserve police lieutenant Frank Medrano, and his daughter Racquel Medrano, charged with making false statements; Sylvia Medrano, Dallas County clerk’s office employee, charged with seven counts of illegally voting in precincts where she did not reside; and Robert Edward Medrano, Dallas County detention services officer, charged with three counts of illegally voting in a precinct in which he did not reside. Arkansas Jack Crumbly (former Arkansas State Senate candidate) M 2006-05 Democratic Primary run off D Alleged fraud in the runoff election against Crumbly for Senate seat. Allegations included fraud with absentee ballots, forged signatures, voters not signing the bearer book, double votes recorded and 173 ballots never found. The original lawsuit was dismissed, but the state Supreme Court overturned that decision. West Virginia Jerry Weaver (former Lincoln County assessor) M 2004-05 Democrat Primary 2005-08 Jerry Weaver was reportedly involved in a scandal during the 2004 Democratic party primary to bribe county voters. Indicted with others for a conspiracy to control county government in Lincoln County by buying votes, keeping some supporters’ property taxes low, controlling county and state government jobs and rewarding supporters by ensuring their roads were repaired. Georgia James Curtis Hicks Olivia Pearson Charlie Mack Wooten Evelyn Griffin M 2012-11 General 2016-05 Illegal assistance James Curtis Hicks, Douglas Mayor Pro-Tem Olivia Pearson, Charlie Mack Wooten, and Evelyn Griffin were charged with voter fraud during the November 2012 General Election. An investigation conducted by the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office revealed that Pearson, Wooten, Hicks and Griffin illegally provided assistance to voters who were not physically disabled or illiterate.
