He voted once based on being on the tax records for the two properties he owned, and after discussing it with a local elections official, voted again in the name of his family's limited liability partnership. The State of Connecticut State Elections Enforcement Commission determined that Hofer wasn't trying to fraudulently vote, and made an honest mistake. Mr. Hofer wasn't penalized.|
