Citizen Watchdog Colleen Vera Prompts Voter Fraud Investigation By Texas AG

HOUSTON, Texas – On this week's episode of the Red, White & True podcast, Catherine Engelbrecht speaks with Colleen Vera, citizen watchdog and a long time True the Vote volunteer researcher, who just recently completed a two-year investigation that discovered a ballot harvesting ring operating in Texas nursing homes.

A suspicious video led Vera to invest her own money and time to begin the rigorous process of proving the existence of institutionalized voting fraud. After manually going through 22,000 unsorted ballots, she was able to pull 30 applications and 30 ballots in one precinct with identical handwriting. Vera then compiled and turned over her findings to the Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton, who has since opened an investigation into the matter.

Vera credits True the Vote for teaching her how to research the veracity of the voter rolls, which was crucial to her identifying, investigating, and proving fraud.

Red White & True is a podcast hosted every week by Catherine Engelbrecht where she provides the latest election news from across the country, and updates listeners on efforts being taken to secure the 2020 elections and preserve the voting rights of Americans from all backgrounds and ideologies.
