Start with your own voter record

Hi Friend —

There is a lot of noise around elections right now. So many headlines, they can give a person whiplash. But one of the most powerful things we can do is remarkably simple:

Check your own voter record.

Go to ScanCheckProtect.org and confirm that your registration and voting history is accurate. Check the other voters in your household. And if you’ve moved, check your previous addresses to make sure an old registration isn’t still active.

If something doesn’t look right, Scan. Check. Protect. equips you to report it right then and there.

You can follow the prompts, document what you found, and take the appropriate next steps. You don’t have to wonder what to do or where to start.

Scan. Check. Protect.

It takes only a few minutes. Then send it to your family and friends and ask them to do the same.

Imagine what happens when millions of Americans take responsibility for confirming their own records.

This is how we strengthen election integrity — citizen by citizen, household by household.

Keep the faith. Never quit. Ephesians 6 FTW!

Ever onward —

P.S. I’m writing this from the airport, headed to Detroit for the community premiere of TRAPPED. Next week, we start streaming and kick this effort into high gear. Watch the documentary — then use Scan. Check. Protect. to make sure what happened to the people in the film doesn’t happen to you or your family.

P.P.S. Before you go, I’d love for you to visit http://MobilizeaMillion.org and help us grow this grassroots movement to help one another. I’m grateful for every person who reads these emails, shares them with a friend, and stays involved. Thank you for being one of those people — and for considering this next step with us.
