Wild! And you are that much closer to being fully prepared for all that is to come in the field concerning elections (and hopefully legislation!)
But…how prepared are you? Well…let’s look into your voter record:
✅ Week 10 - Verify and Update Your Voter Registration
- Check your voter registration status and update any necessary information, such as your address or party affiliation.
- Visit Scan. Check. Protect. ➡️ Select your state ➡️ Click on “Am I Registered?” ➡️ Follow the steps required
- Have you moved (even years ago?) Repeat the steps above in the state you previously lived in to confirm you’ve been removed.*
*If you are still registered where you no longer live, select “Remove My Registration” and follow the instructions to ensure your name is taken off any old voter rolls.
In the event that the state you are looking into requires information that you don’t have (such as a driver’s license number), go ahead and call the county you were previously registered in and confirm if you’re on the roll. In most cases, they will ask you for identifying information, such as signature verification, so they can update their records.

Post this image on social media and make sure other voters are doing the same!
In 2024, tens of thousands used Scan. Check. Protect. to confirm their current records and remove their invalid registrations. We’ve got this!
