Steady Watchmen: Week 11

Hello, Friend!
Our Steady Watchmen Campaign is almost coming to an end! Next week, we will close out with the final tasks and then begin on a new journey to further prepare you for what’s ahead.
This week, we are going to revisit ID requirements. There have been so many changes - even since the 2024 Election - so make sure you’re caught up on any information that may be different since you last voted!
✅ Week 11 - Understand Your State's Voter ID Requirements
- Action: Research what identification is needed to vote in your state and ensure you have the appropriate identification, if applicable.
- Why:
- Being aware of ID requirements helps avoid complications at the polls. In addition, if you intend on working at the polls, it is best to be familiar now with the methods that are accepted.
- If there is no voter ID necessary, begin advocating for it. TTV’s The Way Forward provides a lot of helpful information and statistics to assist you in any potential conversations with lawmakers.
- Resource: Info by State’s “Election Info” tabs will send you right to your state’s Voter ID requirements page.
If you noticed any changes, post them on social media, tell your friends and family, and keep everyone focused on election integrity, even in an “off year”.
Let’s finish off strong!
“Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means.” - 2 Corinthians 8:11
God bless you and God bless America! 🇺🇸
