Steady Watchmen: Week 8
Hi, Friend!
Before we get into this week’s goal, I just want to say that we are really excited for what we’ve got planned for all volunteers in the coming weeks.
As you know, an “off year” from elections is never an off year at True the Vote. We’ve been working behind the scenes on even more ways to get involved. Some new, some additions to current initiatives you know, and some throwbacks we’re bringing back…stay tuned!
Now on to continuing Steady Watchmen!
Looking back, consider your small steps every week and look at how much progress has been made!
One step forward at a time will always produce results…standing in place puts us behind.
Celebrate the small steps and let’s dive into Week 8!
✅ Week 8 - Host a “Stand in Truth” Action Night
- Invite friends, family, or neighbors to an in-person or Zoom meeting. It doesn’t have to be a big group! Even just 2 or 3 people.
- Pick a topic. Voter rolls? Legislative advocacy? Reviewing your locality’s election methods? Keep it simple with one point!
- Draft a call to action. Pick a volunteer from your group to make a call, write a letter, or post on social media to encourage others to join in on your effort.
By the end of the summer, you will be fully prepared for the 2026 midterms! Stay encouraged, reach out with questions, and know that True the Vote stands with you.
